Dried / calibrated materials.

The planed timber on four sides is industrially dried and available in a wide range of sizes. Calibrated material can also be purchased with rounded corners. VS Timber offers timber grading according to the C14 / C16 / C18 / C24 construction standard. We complete orders (according to your required dimensions) and deliver the materials to your address. With our timber products, we can satisfy our customers with almost every desire.

Timber must be classified (and dried) when used in internal construction types as required by building regulations. Timber is classified as C16 or C24. All structural properties of wood are quantified here. Category C24 can only be obtained with imported timber that we offer. Timber from British sawmills will form only C16, so there will be less strength.

It is also possible to produce non-standard size materials in various sizes and lengths from 2.40 to 6.0 m. High pressure impregnation and other treatments are possible.

Description of materials:

 Dried / calibrated lumber

The material is sawn / dried and then calibrated (planed) to certain dimensions. The size of the sawn timber does not walk in thickness and width, it is accurate. As well as materials are sorted.

The materials are CE marked (pre-ordered).

 In addition to materials, antiseptics are possible.

The treatment is performed in specialized impregnating baths. The impregnant is intended for building structures and protects the material from bruising, insects, fungi, etc.

 In addition to materials, high-pressure impregnation is possible.

Impregnation is performed in accordance with the British national standard BS8417. The most environmentally friendly impregnating fluid, which does not contain arsenic and chromium, is used for chemical treatment.

Wood treated in this way can be used for various purposes: building construction, terraces, garden paths, garden furniture, wooden fences and fences, shore anchorages and footbridges, wooden bridges.
